GMAT Focus Edition · Error Log
GMAT Focus error log
One row per miss. Same day as the timed set. Tags beat “I felt bad at Quant.” We built this because passive review is how smart people repeat the same leak for weeks.
Focus only: Quantitative Reasoning (Quant), Verbal (Critical Reasoning + Reading Comprehension — no Sentence Correction), Data Insights (DI) equal weight. Official mba.com practice stays the real measure of your score. Print this page or copy the table into a notes app — no account.
How to Use (Tonight)
- Finish a timed Focus section or official mock. Do not spiral into a new book first.
- Log every miss (and every lucky guess you would not trust again).
- Tag: setup · trap · process · careless · timing.
- Paste rows into Score Plan (full mock) or Missed Question (one skill leak).
- Return to official practice. Forums only after tags exist — Focus filter on.

Browser print works. Paper primer also carries miss-log habits — this page is the fast sheet.

Tag Cheat Sheet
- Setup — wrong model before arithmetic; missed “what is asked.”
- Trap — intermediate value in choices; half-done percent path; classic outside-knowledge CR.
- Process — no triage; married one ugly line; DI calc as crutch.
- Careless — arithmetic slip with correct setup; misread a table header.
- Timing — blank or panic guess under the clock after a spiral.
